Big news! I’ve just signed a publishing contract with the wonderful Repeater Books for my next book. After the 2017 release of my first book, Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing), also published by Repeater, I can’t wait to begin working together again on this brand new project…more soon.
Late last year I contributed a short piece to a very special occult anthology book from Repeater Books, The Repeater Book of the Occult. As the book was published in the thick of the pandemic, the first in-person book launch took place only recently in Estonia. The book’s co-editor, Tariq Goddard, and illustrator Christiana Spens, were accompanied at the event by local musicians, for a discussion and recorded readings from Carl Neville, Claire Cronin and […]

Very happy to be launching “Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing)” on home soil in Sydney. We will also screen the accompanying film “In the dark, dark room” and I will read an extract from the book. For full details, see the event page at: Facebook.com/SiouxziConnor
After a long hiatus while busily working on other independent projects, I’m back with updates! For the most part of 2018 so far, I have been dedicating a lot of my time to the organisation I founded together with Klaudia Domurat, called The WØMB. The WØMB is a non-profit association empowering female, non-binary and female-identifying creatives and entrepreneurs in the creative industries. We hold bi-annual symposiums with workshops, masterclasses, roundtables and panels led by industry […]

I was so happy to be back in Paris last week – I fell in love with the city all over again! I was there to present my book Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing) for the first time in France. I was invited by the Transgressive Cultures Conference, held at the University of Chicago, to read several extracts from the book – Just tumult everywhere endlessly, Leda in Glass and several vignettes from my novel. […]
