Following our successful launch in London of my book “Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing)” along with the accompanying exhibition, we received some coverage from the BBC and others. Take a look, listen and enjoy to get to know more about the project from the BBC’s point of view…

BBC Longer Interview (from 24mins)
I’m very excited to announce my book launch and exhibition next week at Tenderbooks Gallery in London. There will be a reading and aural-visual material from myself and Uferlos.Studios. The book is published by Repeater Books.
Welcome!
My first book, “Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing)” arrived to me today, fresh from the printer! I’m over the moon and back. Thank you so much, Repeater Books. It’s even more beautiful than I’d hoped. Details on the upcoming launches in London, Berlin and New York are coming soon.

At Mustarinda, the new residents are creating an aural-visual landscape for the multidisciplinary project ‘In the Dark, Dark Room’ (2017) which began with academic research at the ICI, evolved into the novel ‘Our Little Wooden House in the Forest’ and will soon be included as text and image extracts in ‘Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing)’, the anthology book to be published next year by Repeater Books.

The night before the super moon, we captured this impression of our studio at Mustarinda. We’re having an open studio on Friday November 18.
Currently on artist residency with Uferlos.berlin, in Mustarinda in the north of Finland, working on “In the dark, dark room” – aural/visual extracts from my novel “Our Little Wooden House in the Forest.” More soon.
Known as Siouxzi Mernagh from the years 2007 – 2016, I’m now reverting to my original name, Siouxzi Connor, for all purposes from here on in. I’ve also been away from the site for so long but am now happy to be back and posting! Changes are now in effect across Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram. Greetings from Finland.

Towards the end of 2015 and beginning of 2016, I had the pleasure of taking part in several events in Berlin and Sydney which involved readings from my book ‘Our Little Wooden House in the Forest’ and screenings from my aural-visual collaboration with Uferlos Studios.
