‘Third Eye Open’ is a 13min film shot on 16mm in 2007.

It uses magical realism to tell the story of a suburban girl at odds with herself and her surroundings, who finds her ‘self’ in a bewildering party of other selves, until coincidence makes sense. Written in a stream-of-consciousness method after a dream one morning in Oslo, Norway.

It premiered at The Last Bastion of Civilisation in Sydney and since screened in London, and in Berlin several times and in Umeå, Sweden.
