After a long hiatus while busily working on other independent projects, I’m back with updates!

For the most part of 2018 so far, I have been dedicating a lot of my time to the organisation I co-founded The WØMB.

The WØMB is a non-profit association empowering female, non-binary and female-identifying creatives and entrepreneurs in the creative industries. We hold bi-annual symposiums with workshops, masterclasses, roundtables and panels led by industry professionals from all over the world.

We began this project to raise awareness for the power-based gender imbalances in the creative industries and to address this through hosting practical skill-building sessions, building vocational knowledge and also through strengthening confidence and community.

Personally, it has been an immensely satisfying journey so far to work to empower other creatives and to be inspired by strong, likeminded female-identified and non-binary people here in Berlin. We’ll be introducing some of these individuals via the mini-films we made at our next Sympoisum in Berlin on Gender Equality Day on August 25.
