Experimental narrative novel. Completed December 2010, currently seeking publication.

Part identity-shifting sex-confessional, part madcap no-holds-barred rabbit-hole decent into Borgian chaos, ‘The Peep Show’ traverses the sexual awakening of 18-year-old Isa in late 90’s Sydney, spending a summer making a home video version of Bataille’s erotic “The Story of the Eye” with her ferocious best friend Eliza.

Isa then crashes into even more complicated territory as she straddles an open relationship while a nonchalant guitarist in present day London. Isa’s passion for her disarmingly insane boyfriend and her neighbour upstairs, blind photographer Elan, re-awakens her ambition to continue making the ‘The Story of the Eye’ film.

Simultaneously, the estranged Eliza, now in Berlin, is also re-awakening the film and a mutual passion for Elan that blurs the boundaries of time, space, identity and what is real, if anything ever was.
